One of the biggest eCommerce websites I've worked on at Aptera. Homier was the first eCommerce project I developed with Magento Commerce (if you haven't used it, check it out). When I started development, Magento has just come out of beta. The largest task of working on this project was learning the development process of Magento. Outside of the Magento "box", I developed some of the following:

• Tabbed sections that pull in products (featured, top rated, best selling, new)
• Ability to create more wholesale stores with different pricing
• UPS Freight shipping for shopping carts over 150lbs
• Daily deal product on homepage
• Session variables for storing customers' browsing preferences (# per page, sort by)
• Tabbed sections per product for Specs, Product Tags, and Related Products
• New newsletter administration (Magento didn't allow you to specify newsletters to certain customers - only all or nothing)
• Toggle site on/off functionality from Magento admin
• and plenty more...

Overall, this project has been an amazing learning experience.
